About Me

I'm a Senior Associate Solicitor in our market-leading International Serious Injury team in Birmingham. I have particular experience in group actions and cross border disputes.

I manage a team which primarily deals with group actions against UK-based tour operators, or single party actions against defendants in foreign countries (often working with foreign lawyers). I handle claims involving illness, such as E-Coli and Salmonella, and outbreaks on cruise ships.

I also handle group action claims relating to illness outbreaks in the UK, as part of the firm’s Public Health team. My recent cases include the fatal outbreak of Legionnaires Disease in Stoke-on-Trent in 2012, and numerous illness outbreaks in hotels and on cruise vessels across the world. I've worked on some of the most complex and high-value cases, such as the much publicised Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hotel outbreak in August 2018.

I frequently appear in the press, and I've been quoted in the Daily Mail, The Sun, The Times and The Daily Mirror. I've also been interviewed by the BBC, ITV and Sky News.

In 2016, I was named as the Young Professional of the Year at the Signature Awards in Birmingham. The Signature Awards celebrates the work of Asian professionals working in a range of industries including banking, accountancy and law.

I'm recommended by the Legal 500, and I'm a Fellow of APIL and Accidents and Illnesses Abroad Specialist. I often lecture at events organised for industry colleagues, such as APIL, RSPH and PEOPIL.

In 2019, I was elected Secretary of the APIL International Special Interest Group.
